Mrs Chana Levitan

Chana Levitan, M. S., is a couple’s therapist, educator, speaker and author with over thirty years of 

teaching and counseling experience. In addition to supervising and training therapists at the Neve 

Family Institute in Jerusalem, she works with couples in her private practice and frequently lectures

on the topics of dating, relationships and marriage.

In addition to her clinical work, Chana is a senior lecturer at Neve Yerushalayim and Midreshet Tehillah 

and teaches at a variety of programs throughout Israel. Her best-selling book, “I Only Want to Get 

Married Once” is a practical and straightforward guide to choosing the right marriage partner. 

Translated into a several foreign languages, including Chinese, this book is making a positive impact 

on readers around the world. 

Chana has lectured extensively on five continents and has counseled thousands of men and women 

on dating and marriage. Her second book, “THAT’S Why I Married You”— offers a practical guide for 

couples to not only learn to live with their personality differences but to actually love with their 

differences. Her latest book, “Are We There Yet? The Road Trip to a Great Marriage”, is based on 

interviews with 18 thriving couples, each sharing a major challenge that nearly derailed their marriage—
