Mrs. Michal Levy

Mrs. Michal Levy

Mrs. Michal Levy was born and raised in Jerusalem, and while growing up spent most her summers in Connecticut involved with the kiruv community there. In addition to her youthful travels in the US, she also toured around Europe and was keen dancer and artist. She graduated as a teacher and has a Bachelors in Education and English as Second Language, as well as counseling qualifications. Mrs Levy has been with Midreshet Tehillah from its very first year and, as the school has grown, she has taken on many roles – including teacher, Rakezet and Programs Director. She also teaches in other seminaries, as well as being the Meor Israel Women’s Educational Director for college students. As someone who did not have the chance to go to seminary, she is inspired and excited to be able to create and be part of such an inspirational and fundamental year. Mrs Levy lives in Har Nof with her husband and 6 children. Their home is close to the school and their Shabbat table open to all our students (just not on the same week please!)

What his students say

“We feel honored that we had the opportunity to have you as a teacher. Your classes are straight forward and practical, yet you still show us the depth and complexity of the Torah. You never shied away from discussing controversial topics, and you used your incredible wealth of knowledge and experience to lead us in the right direction during our discussions.”
